We have had a fantastic experience with Learning to Learn in Petaluma and could not be more pleased with the nurturing and educational environment that they provide. Our children have grown so much during their time here. The teachers truly care about the children. They create a warm, welcoming and safe atmosphere that makes it easy for little ones to learn and feel confident. Teresa, the director, is a sweet, compassionate person that loves what she does, and it shows. The children gravitate to her and enjoy her warm presence.

One thing we appreciate is how individualized the approach is. One of our children had specific needs, not able to verbally communicate and they adjusted their approach which made a big difference in their development. They played a huge part in my child’s expressive language progress, and I am forever grateful to them for this. The curriculum is well rounded with structured learning to prepare for TK/K, outdoor activities, art, social interaction and caring for the child as a “whole”. This was very important to me.

The communication from the staff has been excellent – If I had any questions about my child’s progress, I am always answered in a timely manner with informative information. We are warmly greeted every morning by their teachers at drop off and it truly makes all the difference.

Both of my children have gone through learning to learn from yellow duck blue butterflies, and we’ve seen firsthand how incredible the center truly is. The teachers are not only deeply knowledgeable, but also incredibly intuitive and loving. They understand and respect each child’s unique personality, and their care goes far beyond the classroom. Hannah is now six and Eli is four and I can honestly say their confidence, independence and emotional awareness have been shaped by the amazing women at learning to learn. I’m endlessly grateful for the warmth, dedication and heart they pour into our kids every single day.

We love learning to learn! Our oldest had 2.5 amazing years there. Our middle child is a current thriving student and our youngest will start when she’s age eligible. We wouldn’t consider any other preschool. The teachers are warm and loving and the education they provide is top notch. Our 4 year old comes home everyday beaming with her art work and telling me all about the letter of the week. We’ve always loved this school but the new director has made it even better. We appreciate the increase in communication and how supportive the staff is. The waving goodbye window has made drop offs a breeze for our child that struggled with this transition. The curriculum and socialization have played such an important role in our children learning, growing and thriving. Most importantly, we know that our children are well cared for and safe when they are learning to learn. We cannot recommend it enough!

As both my husband and I attended Learning to Learn as children, enrolling our own kids here felt like coming home. This preschool has always held a special place in our hearts, and seeing it continue to thrive with the same love and dedication is truly special.

The teachers are absolutely wonderful—caring, attentive, and passionate about what they do. It’s clear that our kids are not only learning but are genuinely happy and supported every day. We especially love the communication through the ProCare app. Getting real-time updates and photos of our children playing, learning, and making new friends gives us so much peace of mind and joy.
